Today after the storm had gone birds were singing again, the sun was shining crazy bright and as we woke up I heard the familiar sound of a wood pigeon coo. Last night had been very scary.
We had a morning walk and everyone gently said “hello” in a caring calm way like we were all relieved to have survived.
At machimin we finally got to work on the wall. Was a big relief to start doing some physical work after all the travelling, sitting and eating. Hopefully I will get fit again.
We sanded in the sun with children and locals I started to learn a Japanese song. We had rice balls and soup then finished the sanding and saw the final moments of the harvest shrine tie before heading back home.
